Davidoff’s newest zodiac release—the Year of the Horse 2026 Limited Edition—has officially arrived at retailers. Continuing the annual tradition that began in 2013, this year’s edition celebrates the hallmark traits of the Horse: independence, strength, and a refined sense of occasion.
The new Toro Especial (55×6½) is a first for Davidoff and is crafted with a blend designed to highlight nuance and balance. Handcrafted in the Dominican Republic, it features an Ecuadorian wrapper, a proprietary hybrid binder, and Dominican long-fillers aged up to 10 years, including select vintage tobaccos for added depth. The result is a medium-to-full-bodied profile with layered notes of cream, chocolate, roasted hazelnut, and a clean, extended finish. Each cigar is rolled exclusively by Davidoff’s most experienced Master Rollers to ensure consistency and precision.
The presentation mirrors the theme, arriving in a dark wood box accented with Lunar New Year red and subtle equestrian-inspired details such as a stitched frame and horseshoe motif. A green-accented secondary band—one of the Horse’s traditional lucky colors—completes the look.
