IPCPR 2016: David Garofalo Visits With Hirochi Robaina

One of the articles that has gotten the most traffic here at The Cigar Authority has been David’s trip to Cuba. During the course of the trip he got to visit Hirochi Robaina’s farms on the island nation. While not speaking the same language they were able to bond over a cigar.

Hirochi still doesn’t speak much English but with the help of a translator we got a tour of the new products from Robaina who makes cigars for the American market in Nicaragua.

Distributed in the USA by White Hat Tobacco we get to see H.R. Claro which comes in 4 sizes, Rothschild (5 x 48, $8.95 MSRP), Robusto Gordo (5.5 x 56, $10.95), Toro (6 x 52, $10.95) and 109 (7.25 x 50).

Also being released at the show is H.R. Blue which comes in 4 sizes as well, Corona Gorda (5.5  x 46, $7.95), Petit Edmundo (4.5 x 52, $8.50), Toro (6 x 50, $8.95), and Gordo (6 x 60, $9.95).

There is another surprise as well so make sure to check out the video.

The Cigar Authority 2016 IPCPR Coverage is sponsored by 2guyscigars.com which carries the HR Line which has scored a 94 here on TCA.
