Law | Natick, MA Tobacco Ban Coming

The Board of Health of Natick, Massachusetts is considering updates to its tobacco regulation, following the trend elsewhere in the state.

The changes would limit the sale of tobacco products by prohibiting pharmacies from sell them, raising the age from 18 to 21 and banning sales of flavored tobacco.

According to Jim White, the Public Health director of Natick, the communities regulations are antiquated and haven’t been updated in a long time.

There is no word yet on when the matter will be brough to the public for commenting.

Natick, MA is home to 32,000 residents over 16.1 square miles and was founded in 1651.Massachusetts
