Law | Wayland, MA Raises Tobacco Age

Starting on January 1st, 2014 you can die for your county but not purchase tobacco products if you live Wayland. The law passed last nice raising the minimum legal sales age to 21, and limited smoking in public spaces.

The vote held to last night by the Board of Health, was unanimous, despite comments against the increase by local business owners.

Wayland is home to just over 13,000 residents over 15.9 square miles and was founded in 1638.
