Crux – IPCPR 2015

Leading up to the trade show, Crux had a slew of Press Releases about their new cigars that were set to debut. Here we catch up with the company and learn about them first hand.

  • The Crux Guild features a Ecuadorian Habano wrapper as well as a Nicaraguan binder and filler made up of tobacco from Nicaragua. Available in 5 sizes you can watch the video or read the press release.
  • The second new brand for Crux Cigars will be the Crux du Connoisseur, an exceedingly rich, flavorful and robust blend that is built to hold up well to both hearty coffee as well as potent spirits. The Crux du Connoisseur features a Habano wrapper from the Jalapa region of Nicaragua, as well as a Nicaraguan binder and filler made up of tobacco from Honduras which was shared in the press release.

  • The third brand for Crux Cigars will be the Crux Limitada PB5, the inaugural release in a new series that is based on our love of exceptional tobacco, each with a different blend composed of tobacco that we could only find and purchase in limited quantities. The Crux Limitada PB5 features a Engañoso wrapper from Esteli, Nicaragua that was secured over three years ago and has been waiting to be blended into a superior cigar. Internally,  the filler is made up of a combination of five different filler tobaccos while the binder is Connecticut Broadleaf. Pricing is contained in the press release.
