IPCPR 2014: Crux Passport

While the show doesn’t open up for sales until Sunday morning, Mr. Jonathan landed in Vegas a short while ago. After stopping for a Martini to cleanse his palette he shared with us this gem…

The new Crux Passport features a 2009 Habano wrapper from Ecuador with high priming binder from Esteli, Nicragua. The filler of the cigar comes from Honduras (Jamastran) and Nicaragua (Esteli). This blend information comes directly from Jeff Haugen, one of the co-owners of Crux. The cigar is scheduled to be released right after the trade show in 5 sizes. They are Half Corona, No. 4, Corona Gorda, Lancero, and Toro.

The cigar is blended by the aforementioned Jeff Haugen and rolled at Nestor Plasencia’s factory in Honduras.
