IPCPR 2014: Jorge Padron Talks Padron

The part of IPCPR I have been waiting for the most is the visit to the Padron booth. The Padron 50th is a limited one time release, or at least for now it is. The company is leaving the door open to make the cigar again in the future though wether or not it is in the same size remains to be seen.

The 50 count box is expected to sell between $4,000 and $5,000. Each humidor is numbered as are the cigars. The total run is 1,000 humidors, 50,000 cigars. Also there is limited edition ashtray and lighter of which 500 will be made.

In addition to the above, there will also be an edition to the Family Reserve line this year in the Little Hammer. We will have reviews of all these cigars in the not so distant future.

Lastly, Jorge Padron took a minute to talk with Mr. Jonathan and in this video I can see why I could never get him to do an interview with me in the past. But, that is all in good fun as I have had the honor of meeting Jorge a number of times and consider him to be a gentleman who happens to make some of the best cigars in the world.

According to Jorge Padron these will be at site sponsor, Two Guys Smoke Shop.
