IPCPR 2016: David Ortiz Hopes To Go Yard With Big Papi

For the last 20 years, David Ortiz has had the type of career that should warrant a first ballot hall of fame selection. Drafted by the Seattle Mariners, David Ortiz would be the player to be named later in a trade to Minnesota. In 2002, he would be released by the Twins before signing as a free agent with the Boston Red Sox.

Originally from the Dominican Republic, Big Papi has teamed up with Tabacalera El Artista for the creation of a cigar bearing his nickname and a silhouette of Ortiz pointing to the sky in his trademark tribute to his mother.

Available in one size 6 x 54 the Toro is expected to retail for $11.00 before local taxes.

The Cigar Authority 2016 IPCPR Coverage is sponsored by 2guyscigars.com which is located just north of Boston in New Hampshire.
