Wayne County, NY Bans Tobacco On County Property

La Flor Dominicana To Increase Prices

La Flor Dominicana is raising their prices for the first time in two years, but the change won’t come until August 1st. According to La Flor Dominicana, the increase of 2.5%  across all lines comes due to the rising costs in the fight of premium cigar legislation which the company is deeply involved in. A secondary factor is the rising costs of importation and production from their factory in the Dominican Republic.

St. Helens, OR Bans Smoking In Parks

On Wednesday, the St. Helens City Council voted 5-0 to pass an ordinance that will ban the use of tobacco products in parks. The measure which includes electronic cigarettes, vaporizes, smokeless tobacco, cigarettes and cigars will also extend to city-owned properties and city sponsored events.
