Cleveland, OH Looking To Add New Tobacco Regulations

The City Council in Cleveland, Ohio has created a work group that is making an effort to create new legislation to be submitted to the council on December 7, 2015. The new legislation may follow the example of the Cleveland Clinic which currently does now allow the hiring of people who smoke. Law: Ashland County, Ohio Bans Tobacco On County Owned Property

Starting October 1st, there will be no tobacco use on Ashland County owned property, which of course includes cigars. The county commissioners passed the new ordinance on October 1st, and this will include next years Country Fair and Balloon Festival. Ashland Country is considered part of the Cleveland Plus area in the state of Ohio and has a population just under 53,0000.
