The Food and Drug Authority (FDA) of Ghana will begin enforcing the ban on public smoking. According to the Agency it will begin to enforce the Public Health Act 2002, Act 851 (6). According to Regulatory Office Daniel NTI if a person is caught smoking in public it will carry a fine of 750 unit and up to 3 years in jail. The City Council of Boulder, Colorado is set to expand on the existing smoking ban for the city with a new ordinance. The proposed changes will include a smoking ban at the Pearl Street Mall, parks, golf courses, open spaces, mountain parks, trails and set rules prohibiting smoking within 25 feet of a city library and 15 feet of a transit stop.
