The Griffin’s XVIII

The Griffin Cigars have always been known for their very mild and smooth flavor profile but not anymore.  By the way, did you know the brand is NOT “Griffins”…its “The” Griffins?   The mythological creature known as griffin used as a decoration for the cigar bands is not where the name comes from, it’s from a private men’s club is Switzerland. 

The new THE GRIFFINS Limited Release XVIII 2012 from the makers of Davidoff is something very different for The Griffin’s.  A beautiful felt-lined box of ten, 5.5” x 46 ring have been created but only 3,000 of them.  Here’s where it gets different….its strong!    

The blend uses fillers from Dominican, Peru and Nicaragua, binder from Dominican and the wrapper an Ecuadorian Sun-grown.  With a $12 price tag and only 3,000 boxes available this one will sell out fast.
