Earlier this year, West Virginia Governor Earl Ray Tomblin proposed raising the tobacco tax on cigarettes and other tobacco products which includes cigars. Illinois Moves One Step Closer To Raising Tobacco Age

Legislation that was defeated only a short while ago was put up for a vote a second time in the Illinois Senate yesterday. The measure which would raise the legal purchase age for tobacco and electronic cigarettes from 18 to 21 was passed by a vote of 32-22-2. Despite falling 5 votes short in the past Sen.
