It’s that time of year when information about TAA releases begin to emerge. The Tobacconist Association of America is a group of retailers and manufacturers that gather each year in the early Spring. At the mini-trade show/networking event about a dozen or so exclusive releases are unveiled and one of the most notable releases each year comes from Crowned Heads.
According to an email from Miguel Schoedel, this year Crowned Heads is once again teaming up with Tabacalera La Alianza for the release of The Angel’s Anvil. The 2019 release measures 6.25 x 50 and is slated to feature a Brazilian Arapiraca wrapper over an Ecuador Sumatra binder and fillers from Nicaragua. The cigars are expected to carry an MSRP of $11.75 each while a box is expected to retail around $235.00.
The 2019 TAA is taking place in the Dominican Republic from March 17th to March 21st.
