The newest size from Eiroa The First 20 Years comes in a signed box dated by Christian Eiroa and are part of the first run of these cigars. Wether or not this is for the nationwide release or a Two Guys Exclusive was not available at the time of review. The cigar measures 4 x 40, and is a nice collectors item on a cigar that we really enjoy here at The Cigar Authority.

The Look: The Eiroa First 20 Years Maduro 4 x 40 comes in a wooden boxes that has the Eiroa trademark centered on the boxes. The First 20 Years are presented covered in a light yellow tissue paper that surrounds the body of the cigar up to the band. The Maduro wrapper is flawless with a gritty feel to it. It is well packed and balanced in the hand.
The Notes: The pre-light draw of the cigar has has a subtle sweetness to it with hints of earth and a subtle spice to it which transcends to the foot of the cigar in the aroma. It is a cigar that pulls you in to the experience that is Eiroa.
Once we toast the foot and take the first draw the richness of this Honduran puro is smooth and rich. There is a subtle pepper on the retrohale but the real focus here is notes of mocha and brown sugar. As we progress into the first half of the 4 x 40 the cigar is reminiscent of a rich German chocolate cake. As we near the halfway point the cigar begins to get more complex.
The second-half of the First 20 Years Maduro sees espresso notes with nuts take over as the dominant profile. There is some mocha on the finish that also has a bit of an earthy component but the sweetness outshines the bitterness of earth. As we close this enjoyable smoke, notes of white pepper dominate the retrohale.
The Finish: The folks over at 2GuysCigars.com have signed boxes of the 4 x 40 They will state on their website in the description the boxes are signed. If their website no longer states such they are not available. It is an added bonus to this cigar which has an incredible richness to it and is extremely smooth and balanced.
