A little over a week ago we reported that the new smoking ban presented by Grandview Heights would make the possession of tobacco by those under 21 an unclassified misdemeanor.
The move which was passed by the City Council was met with an objection by Mayor Ray DeGraw and as a result the City Council plans to present a revised ordinance at the October 19th meeting.
According to the mayor, cracking down on 18-20 who are in possession of tobacco would present a problem with other neighboring cities with different ordinances.
