On Tuesday the Washington State Attorney General Bob Ferguson announced that the legislation to change the legal age for tobacco use to 21 passed the first step with a 12-3 vote in the House Care and Wellness Committee. Law | Amherst, MA Looking To Join 21 Movement

The town of Amherst could soon join the ever-growing list of communities that are raising the purchase age of tobacco from 18 to 21. The Board of Health in Amherst said the issue came up last year, but there were more pressing issues to contend with.
