Editorial – Dave’s Trip To Cuba (Legally) – The Conclusion

Day 6 and “The Shocking Conclusion” We all packed our bags in the morning (included would be my $100 worth of legal Cuban Cigars and alcohol combined) had my last Cuban Coffee in Cuba and 2 more cigars before we got ready to Hurry-Up and Wait! This is what I hate most about traveling, especially out of the country and even more so to and from Cuba. They want you there 5 hours early and […]

Editorial | Dave’s Trip To Cuba (Legally) – Day Four

Day 4 We were up bright and early for a little Cuban Coffee and a Cuban Cigar before hitting the road back to Havana. The first stop was the El Laguito Factory, the birthplace of Cohiba which was in 1968. A palace of a building, looks kind of like an old Southern Mansion which was unquestionably the most impressive looking cigar factory from the outside thus far for sure. This is where Cohiba, Behike and […]

Cigar Review | Atabey Divinos

Some days you just wake up and want to smoke the very best and when that happens I reach for Atabey. The only cigar on The Cigar Authority to be awarded a perfect 100 score on the Brujos size. Today’s I have to be in Salem for a taping of The Cigar Authority radio show so my time was pressed and I reached for the smaller size of the Divinos. From Selected Tobacco and Nelson […]

General Cigars which is owned by Scandinavia Tobacco Group uses the name Cohiba in the USA while […]

Review | Byron Poemas

It’s the time of the year where people ask me what my cigar of the year is, and while this cigar wouldn’t be eligible since it has been on the shelves for a couple of years the Byron would easily be in my Top 2 Cigars smoked.  Each size of the Byron is a different blend to reflect a specific era of Cuban cigars. We reviewed the Londinenses and gave it a 98 back in September. […]
