Chicago, Illinois Looking To Raise Purchase Age to 21

Earlier this week we reported that the city of Chicago was looking to add a tax to cigars.  Today, Mayor Rahm Emanuel took further aim at the tobacco industry at the first City Council meeting of the year. New York Could Ban Smoking In Public Housing

Last week Philadelphia became the largest city to ban smoking in public housing. That reign could be short-lived as Assistant Assembly Speaker, Felix Ortiz a Democrat from Brooklyn, NY is pushing for a similar ban.
