On Wednesday, eight Senators introduced bill S. 2100 that could raise the smoking age to 21 nationwide. The bill which was introduced by Brian Schatz (D-Hawaii);Dick Durbin (D-Illinois); Sherrod Brown (D-Ohio); Ed Markey (D-Massachusetts); Barbara Boxer (D-California); Jack Reed (D-Rhode Island); Elizabeth Warren (D-Massachusetts); Senator Mazie Hirona (D-Hawaii); Richard Blumenthal (D-Connecticut) and Sheldon Whitehouse (D-Rhode Island) also has the support of the American Lung Association.
