The city of Muskogee, Oklahoma is taking steps to enact a new ordinance that would ban smoking on property owned by the city. The Athens City Council is set to introduce a new ordinance that will make parks, recreation facilities, restrooms pavilion, hiking trails, and parking lots tobacco-free. The proposal will be unveiled for a first reading tonight. The ban would include cigars, pipes and chewing tobacco. The Board of Health of Natick, Massachusetts is considering updates to its tobacco regulation, following the trend elsewhere in the state. The changes would limit the sale of tobacco products by prohibiting pharmacies from sell them, raising the age from 18 to 21 and banning sales of flavored tobacco.
