While The Cigar Authority is collectively the team of David Garofalo; Mr. Jonathan Barbeau, Chuck Morrison and yours truly; the blog sometimes takes on a personal note as it is my style of writing. Today’s cigar reflects on that. This week it was announced that Charlie Lopez was named Director of Sales for Boutique Blends and as luck would have it he showed up at the offices of The Cigar Authority just the other day. Living in New York at the time that Liga Privada No. 9 came out; I remember how the cigar set the world on fire so to speak. Limited to a certain amount of accounts they became the holy grail of cigars for cigar geeks such as myself. A couple of years later Drew Estate would release the Liga Privada T52 and it would surpass the No. 9 for me in terms of a cigar I […]

So when I got into work, I purchased one from the shelves at Two Guys Smoke Shop. The Davidoff website describes the cigar as “Inspired by Zino Davidoff’s pioneering spirit. We at Davidoff continue our mission to […]

KILO is a cigar that I didn’t really want to review; because it is my cigar. However in speaking with someone on social media he put it in a way that made it hard to say no. He said, “I don’t live in New Hampshire and I can’t meet with you to discuss the cigar, so why not bring the cigar to me via The Cigar Authority.” So reluctantly I offer you my thoughts on […]
