On January 14, 2015 the Board of Health in the community of Watertown voted on a regulation regarding the sale of tobacco and the Minimum Legal Sales Age. The Leverett board of health officially voted on Wednesday night to change the legal age to purchase tobacco from 18 to 21. Back in August the City of Manhattan Beach passed a law that prohibited smoking in all public places. The law carried fines up to $1,000.00.
