COVID-19 Shuts Down Honduras Cigar Manufacturing

The President of Honduras, Juan Orlando Hernández has ordered the shut down of all cigar rolling in the country of Honduras for at least 7 days. The Central American country has 6 cases of COVID-19 at the time of writing this. In an effort to combat the spread, the country has prohibited the gathering of more than 50 people and shut down non-essential businesses.  The move comes as many countries struggle to slow the spreading of the virus that has resulted in a pandemic.
