Duran Cigars To Release Azan Blue At IPCPR

Roberto Duran Premium Cigars (Duran Cigars) will make his debut into the Connecticut world at the IPCPR show in Las Vegas in July with the release of Azan Blue Connecticut.

The new line for the Azan brand will come in three sizes: Robusto (5 x 50), Campana (6 x 52) and Toro de Luxe (6 1⁄2 x 54). The flavor is described as medium, creamy, and very smooth. The fillers and binders are from Nicaragua while the wrapper comes from the first Connecticut crop at Fincas Azan in Ecuador.

Roberto Pelayo Duran, owner of Duran Cigars said, “I am very excited about our incursion into the Connecticut wrappers. I was following very closely the crop at Fincas Azan last year and couldn’t believe the size and quality of the leaves. Tasting the cigars and appreciating the beauty of the wrapper now give me tremendous joy and can’t wait to see the reaction
of the Azan smokers.

The Azan Blue Connecticut line will be priced between USD $7.00 to $8.00 and will be presented in 20 count boxes.

Miguel Schoedel, National Sales Manager at Duran Cigars, commented on the new release,  “I have always admired the Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper. This particular crop is exceptional. I am looking forward to introduce this newest Azan to our retailers and consumers at this year’s trade show.”
