This afternoon the official twitter account of La Palina tweeted that Hirochi Robaina has joined the La Palina team.
Last year, Hirochi Robaina joined up with Cubanacan to release HR, a cigar blended by Robaina the grandson of famous Cuban tobacco farmer Alejandro Robaina; and Omar Gonzalez Aleman. The cigar and brand which is owned by Robaina is made in Esteli, Nicaragua and it is believed that the brand will now move to La Palina.
We reached out to Bill Paley of La Palina who told us that he would be working with Robaina to make great cigars and while there are no specific projects in the works that Hirochi Robaina would be at the La Palina booth in New Orleans.
