Another day and another city; Holyoke has joined the movement to ban the sale of tobacco to those under the age of 21. However, this time that law is a little bit different as you only need to be 18+ to enjoy it.
The measure passed by the Holyoke Board of Health calls for the banning the sales of tobacco products to those under 21, while those over 18 will still be able to enjoy them.
Additionally the city of Holyoke passed a regulation that will making smoking in certain places illegal. The press release did not mention where this would be and a phone call placed by The Cigar Authority to the Board of Health resulted in no additional information as the clerk was unsure of the locations.
