La Mission du L’Atelier Arrives At IPCPR

La Mission du L’Atelier is set to debut at IPCPR 2015 in New Orleans.

La Mission is a brand that was inspired by Château La Mission Haut-Brion, a French winery located southeast of Bordeaux in the Pessac-Léognan region. Known for producing full bodied wines with explosive flavor, La Mission became the perfect inspiration for what would be the most full bodied release to date under the L’Atelier brands.

La Mission du L’Atelier will use a Mexican San Andrés wrapper, Nicaraguan binder and filler tobaccos and would be considered medium to full bodied. As with all of the L’Atelier branded releases, this blend will also include Sancti Spiritus in the blend.

Box pressed with a pig tailed cap, La Mission will be packed in 18 count boxes and will take their vitola names from the years that Château La Mission Haut-Brion recieved 100-point designations from Robert Parker.

3 initial sizes are being released at IPCPR.

1959 – 4 3/4 x 52 – MSRP $8.00
1989 – 5 5/8 x 54 – MSRP $9.00
2009 – 6 1/2 x 56 – MSRP $10.00

4 other years have been designated as 100-point releases, 1955, 1982, 2000, and 2005. All of which will see future vitolas added to the La Mission brand.
