The city of Branson, MO is looking to go smoke free, and a proposed ordinance will prohibit smoking in all public places as well as enclosed places of employment.
In a city-wide survey taken by the Chamber of Commerce, 64 percent of the respondents felt a smoke free environments was very important for the city.
The city is holding a forum tonight to hear opinions on the proposed measure.
Branson is located in the southern portion of the state on the Arkansas border with a population of over 10,000.
