Law | Malden, MO Passes Smoking Ban

The city of Malden left it up to the people in the mid-term election as a smoking ban was placed on the ballot. The ban which restricts smoking in public areas within the city passed with 52% of the vote. Smoking is now prohibited in enclosed public places, places of employment, private clubs and within 5 feet of entrances and operable windows or ventilation systems.

Malden, MO is home to 4,200 residents over 6.2 square miles and was founded in 1877.
