In Connecticut, the New Haven Board of Alders is expected to vote this week on a measure that would change where you can light up.
Over the weekend Democrat Senator Richard Blumenthal joined Democrat Mayor Toni Harp of New Haven to talk about restricting tobacco.
The measure if passed would ban tobacco as parks and beaches amongst other areas such as school ground and city buildings.
New Haven, CT is home to 130,000 residents over 20.12 square miles and was settled in 1638.
