The band America is slated to perform at the IPCPR Bash this year which is slated to take place in New Orleans, Louisiana. The 83rd Annual IPCPR Convention and International Trade Show is set to take place from July 17-21 at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center.
The band america was formed in 1970 where they first met in London. The band was famous for trio’s close vocal harmonies and light acoustic sound. They have had such hits as “A Horse with No Name” and “I Need You”. They scored a number one hit with “Sister Golden Hair” in 1975.
America has been inducted into the Vocal Group Hall of Fame and has received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
The IPCPR Bash replaces the opening night Gala and will take place on July 20th from 7:30 to 10:00 pm at Mardi Gras World and include a tour of the Mardi Gras Floats, dessert and open bars.
