It’s the time of year when ghouls and goblins are getting ready to scare people and ghost stories make their way out of the cobwebbed vault. But more importantly, to the cigar smoking collector, it is the time of year when Pete Johnson announces his Unlucky 13 Retailers to carry the next edition of the Monster Series.
This year it is the Jeckyll which features a “Sancti Spiritus” wrapper over Nicaraguan binder and filler. They cigars measure 7 x 49 and carry an MSRP of $13.00 a stick. Sancti Spiritus is a city in central Cuba and in Latin is means, “Holy Spirt”.
According to Ed Santamaria of Two Guys Smoke Shop, “The phone hasn’t stopped ringing since the list was released on Saints & Sinners, and with only 31 boxes coming we decided to do a lottery. We plan to pick the winners when the shipment arrives. Sadly, there is no way to make everyone happy but we will glad to add people to this list right up until the morning when they arrive.”
In addition to the dress box there will also be a release of the non-dress box as well. Pete Johnson is scheduled to appear at Two Guys Smoke Shop in Seabrook, NH on October 11th from 12-4 and at a dinner in Nashua, NH on the same date.
