Padrón 60th Anniversary has arrived. On September 8, Padrón Cigars celebrated a major milestone: 60 years in the cigar business. To mark this special occasion, Padrón has released the highly anticipated Padrón 60th Anniversary Perfecto, a commemorative cigar that has already begun shipping in limited quantities. This rare release honors the legacy of one of the most revered cigar brands in the world, renowned for its commitment to quality, craftsmanship, and consistency.
The Padrón 60th Anniversary Perfecto is a large, tapered cigar, representing only the second time in the company’s six-decade history that this unique shape has been produced. The cigar measures 6 1/2 inches in length with a 56-ring gauge. Unlike many of Padrón’s other high-end offerings, which are traditionally box-pressed, this anniversary release is shaped in the classic perfecto rounded style, with both ends of the cigar tapered.
This celebratory cigar is made entirely from Nicaraguan tobaccos, a hallmark of the Padrón brand, which sources its leaves from the fertile soils of Nicaragua. The 60th Anniversary Perfecto is being offered in two versions, natural and maduro. Each cigar is presented individually in a wooden coffin, with 10 cigars per box, with an MSRP of: $75 per cigar and $750 for a box of 10.
However, despite the high demand for this special edition, the Padrón 60th Anniversary will be released in very limited quantities. Only one pair of highly skilled rollers at the company’s Estelí, Nicaragua factory has been tasked with producing these cigars. This careful, small-scale production ensures that every cigar meets Padrón’s exacting standards of quality.
While the Padrón 60th Anniversary Perfecto will remain an ongoing release, the initial shipments are extremely limited, making this a highly sought-after cigar for collectors and aficionados alike.
With this cigar now shipping, the excitement for the next chapter in Padrón’s history has only just begun.
