The measure by Senator Tyson Larson of O’Neill that would exclude cigar shops from the 2008 Nebraska Clean Indoor Air Act has passed the General Affairs Committee by a vote of 7-0 today. On January 14, 2015 the Board of Health in the community of Watertown voted on a regulation regarding the sale of tobacco and the Minimum Legal Sales Age. This afternoon a hearing was held on the proposed smoking ban that would make it illegal to light up in most of New Orleans. The Leverett board of health officially voted on Wednesday night to change the legal age to purchase tobacco from 18 to 21.
