News | Department of Justice Bans Smoking In Federal Prisons

According to a report to be published by the Department of Justice on Monday, all tobacco products will be banned in federal prisons. Starting in 30 days from Monday all federal prison inmates will be prohibited from smoking unless they receive a religious exemption. Law | Portland, OR Looking To Join Smoking Ban

A citizen advisory board in the city of Portland, Oregon has recommended to ban tobacco products including chewing tobacco in all city parks. The Parks Board of Portland delivered its recommendation on Wednesday to Amanda Fritz, the current commissioner who plans to bring a ban to the City Council in January.
