EP Carrillo in 2012 launched the creation of the INCH line, with the ring gauge being 64/64 or, one INCH. At the 2018 IPCPR the company unveiled a Nicaraguan Puro called The Ringmaster for national distribution. Guardian of the Farm Rambo Cigar Review

Much of the fanfare has been around the Guardian of the Farm Apollo, and we will have a review of that in the near future. But having smoked all the sizes my first box purchase was today’s review Guardian of the Farm Rambo. While it would be easy to post the differences here I promise to have the other review up shortly. Asylum 13 Medulla Cigar Review

One of the unique releases at the 2017 IPCPR this year was the Asylum 13 Medulla Oblongata. This 50 count box is unique as there are 25 cigars that are the traditional round (Medulla) and 25 cigars that are box pressed (Oblongata). Both cigars are the same blend so it’s another instance of being able to judge for yourself how much box pressing changes things up, if at all. We did a similar comparison a […]

Todos Las Dias Burn

Todos Las Dias Double Wide Belicoso

There are some cigars that stand out in the industry that just by looking at them invoke the name of a cigar. Cigars like the LFD Chisel, Fuente Anejo Shark, and the Joya de Nicaragua Gran Consul. I mention the latter cigar because the first time Steve Saka handed me a Todos Las Dias it was in a size he dubbed a double-wide belicoso, there was a familiarity about it. I recently got to ask […]

AJ Fernandez New World Robusto Cigar Review

One of the hottest manufacturers on the market today is without a doubt AJ Fernandez. So much so that companies are tapping him to make cigars for their own portfolio. The company describes the cigar as, “a […]

Maestro Del Tiempo 5712 Cigar Review

Maestro Del Tiempo comes to us from Warped Cigars and it features 100% Aganorsa tobacco. What is Aganorsa tobacco? It is tobacco grown by Eduardo Fernandez in Nicaragua. Eduardo Fernandez is not to be confused with AJ Fernandez as they are two different people. Each year Eduardo Fernandez’s Aganorsa plants over 1,000 acres of tobacco, which is enough to make millions of cigars. Eduardo Fernandez worked with Jose Pepin Garcia of My Father Cigars where the two opened […]
