California Senate Passes 6 Anti-Tobacco Bills

Today, the state Senate of California passed six new anti-tobacco bills which will not move to the Assembly for consideration. The state of New Hampshire this past week introduced two new bills, the first of which is SB 105 which would dramatically broaden the indoor smoking prohibition. The details of the bill can be read on the state website. Law | Lawrence, MA To Change Tobacco Laws

The Board of Health in Lawrence, MA has proposed regulations will raise the smoking age from 18 to 21. However, it doesn’t stop there as the town also wants to ban tobacco sales at pharmacies as well as requiring all single cigars to carry a minimum of $2.50. Original Story: Aug 13th. Kokomo, no not the locale made famous by the Beach Boys. Kokomo, IN. The Kokomo Common Council unveiled a draft of a smoke-free ordinance that would ban smoking in all enclosed public places.
