Utah Republican Governor, Gary Herbert has signed into law House Bill 324 which will gradually raise the tobacco purchase age from 19 to 20 in 2020 and then to 21 in 2021. The state of Utah has introduced a bill that would raise the tobacco age to 21. The new bill would raise the age from 19 to 21 over two years.
