Celebrating a tradition that began in 1992 by Two Guys Smoke Shop, The Cigar Authority proudly announces the recipient of the prestigious The Cigar of the Year for 2024, awarded to Perdomo 30th Anniversary Sun Grown Epicure.
The Perdomo 30th Anniversary Sun Grown is a testament to the brand’s dedication to excellence. Featuring an elegant 15-year-old bourbon barrel-aged Cuban-seed Nicaraguan Sun Grown wrapper, it harmonizes perfectly with 15-year-aged Cuban-seed Nicaraguan filler tobaccos. The result is a cigar that offers a rich, spicy complexity with subtle notes of oak and almond on the finish.
“The Perdomo 30th Anniversary encapsulates not only the essence of our team’s dedication to the finest quality and craftsmanship but also represents our longstanding commitment to our cherished patrons,” said Nick Perdomo, President and CEO of Perdomo Cigars. “It is our way of saying ‘Thank You’ for 30 years of unwavering support. These special cigars are as much a celebration of our loyal customers as it is of our history.”
Reflecting on the tradition of naming “The Cigar of the Year” over the past 33 years, David Garofalo, founder of Two Guys Smoke Shop and host of The Cigar Authority, stated, “There is only one number one each year, and for 2024 it’s the Perdomo 30th Anniversary Sun Grown Epicure.” Garofalo extended heartfelt congratulations to Nick Perdomo, the entire Perdomo Team in Miami, FL, and the Perdomo Army worldwide.
This marks the third time Perdomo has received the coveted title, having previously won in 1998 for the La Tradicion Perdomo Reserve X, and 2020 for the Perdomo 10th Anniversary Maduro. The Perdomo 30th Anniversary Sun Grown now joins a distinguished list of past winners, cementing its place in the annals of cigar excellence alongside some of the most iconic names in the industry.
