The Tobacconist Association of America has informed its members they will be postponing their annual TAA Meeting and Convention which as supposed to take place later this month at Sheraton Hacienda del Mar in Los Cabos, Mexico. In a message to their members they stated, “Health and safety is the top priority for the TAA members who are scheduled to attend this year’s TAA Annual Meeting and Convention. Unfortunately due to COVID-19, we are officially postponing the TAA Annual Meeting and Convention to a later date in 2020.”
While no new date has officially been chosen, the TAA stated in an email they hope to hold the meeting in late September or early October 2020. In the meantime, they are looking at potentially hosting the event for Exclusive Series Products via a virtual or remote setting. They hope to have a solution in the next few weeks for this measure.
