Royal Agio, the maker Balmoral Cigars has a strong presence in Europe where every year, the majority of about 750 million cigars are produced and sold, through the company’s own sales organisations in western Europe. Agio also exports to over 100 countries outside Europe and this year the company plans to focus on the business here in the United States.
Earlier this year the company announced it was taking over its own sales and distribution from Drew Estate and this year at IPCPR they had their own booth. We caught with Boris Wintermans at the trade show who showcased the Balmoral Anejo XO for us which has scored highly in Cigar Journal as well as here on The Cigar Authority.
