Law | Breckenridge, CO Expands Smoking Bans

The town of Breckenridge, CO is expanding their smoking ban which previously included restaurants, bars and public meeting spaces.

Beginning on March 14th, 2015 it will be illegal to smoke in town parks, open spaces, sports areas, recreation paths. golf course facilities and within 10 feet of public transit waiting areas.

Also included are Business Entryways where it will be illegal to light up within a 10 foot radius of any doorway.

An exemption was included that will not include the course of play on a golf course itself, meaning you can light up during a round of golf.

Breckenridge, Colorado is home to 4,600 residents over 5.0 square miles and was founded in 1859.
