According to a letter sent out by the city of Gloucester there will be a hearing on September 11, 2014 at 6:15 PM at the CATA conference room located at 3 Pond Road. The chamber will be open to public comment in relation to proposed changes in the Board of Heath regulations regarding tobacco.
The regulation includes (but is not limited to) the following additional provisions:
- Sale of individual non-cigarette tobacco products such as cigars and cigarillos.
- Extending the tolling period for violations from 24 months to 36 months.
- Strengthening to regulation with respect to vaping establishments.
