Despite recent reports questioning the effects of second-hand smoke, Kent County officials in Delaware are looking to ban smoking in parks.
This week country commissioners voted 5-2 to make changes to the ordinance. The ordinance must pass two more votes. before becoming official. However, there will be no fines for breaking the ordinance as it is expected to be policed by citizens .
Kent County is home to the state capital, Dover and has a population of 167,000
