You can add North Ridgeville, Ohio as a place you can’t smoke but it also proves that this has nothing to do with the myth of second-hand smoke, as e-cigarettes were banned as well.
The Parks and Recreation Commission passed a policy that bans smoking on July 1st. The items named in the ban are cigarettes, cigars, pipes, chewing tobacco, snuff and e-cigarettes.
According to Director Kevin Fougerousse, “We don’t want to step on anybody’s rights. We’re just trying to protect our kids and the public.”
The question is protect them from what? Enjoying themselves with a legal product?
North Ridgeville, Ohio is home to 31,000 residents over 23.58 square miles.
