As first reported on Cigar Aficionado it was announced that the Winston Churchill would be going thorough a revitalization. The new branding will be unveiled at pre-launch event in NYC on December 8th.
According to information obtained by The Cigar Authority the cigar will feature a new blend that is befitting the world’s most iconic cigar aficionado, Sir Winston Churchill. Like Sir Winston himself, the cigars are a rich mixture of fine qualities drawing on and harmonizing the tobaccos of Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Mexico and Nicaragua.
The current Winston Churchill will be discontinued, while the new line will be reimagined with new packaging and blends under the Davidoff brand umbrella and should hit the market in February, 2015.
