We are proud to announce the addition of our long awaited Connecticut blend. Dr. Gaby Kafie, owner and brand creator states …. “I’m excited to offer a new interpretation of our blend in a Connecticut version.” The company started it platform with a maduro blend that features a Nicaraguan grown Habano wrapper.
Kafie 1901 Cigars prides itself in doing business with Brick and Mortar Shops (tobacconists) across America. “Our family has always owned family businesses, and we believe in supporting similar establishments”, states Dr. Kafie.
The Kafie 1901 Connecticut features a cloud grown Connecticut Wrapper from Ecuador. The binder is from the farms of Tabacalera Puros Aliados (Honduras), and filler tobaccos are a blend from the Dominican Republic, and Nicaragua. The Kafie family takes pride in creating blends that are traditional, flavorful, balanced, and will stand the test of time. This is a permanent addition to the already existing Don Fernando maduro blend.
The Connecticut blend is being introduced in three vitolas. A Robusto (5×50), Toro Bello (6×54), and Churchill (7×48), all come in 20-count cabinet style boxes. Dr. Kafie states, “I feel that the blend is best delivered in these sizes”. MRSP is in the $6.99 – $8.50 range.
