QUESADA CIGARS TO DISTRIBUTE MATILDE
Quesada Cigars is proud to announce as of June 1st it will become the exclusive US distributor for Jose Sejas’ Matilde brand. The Matilde Renacer line has been met with great acclaim since its launch in 2014, with the Corona being awarded 92 points by Cigar Aficionado magazine and taking #19 in the Top 25 Cigars of 2014.
The line is available in four popular sizes and one Limited Edition Lancero. It’s handsomely packaged in traditional wooden boxes and handmade in the Dominican Republic at the Tabacalera La Matilde factory.
Quesada General Manager Terence Reilly says, “This is a perfect situation for both Quesada and Tabacalera La Matilde as it brings together two great families that have a long-standing friendship. We look forward to working with them to continue to build on the momentum they have generated since the brand launched last year.”
The cigars are available in 4 regular production sizes as well as a limited edition lancero. Matilde Renacer has a MSRP of $7.50 – $9.00 and features a Ecuador wrapper, Dominican Republic binder and fillers from Dominican Republic and Nicaragua.
