For the first time since 2010 Viaje is releasing a regular production cigar instead of its small batch limited production lines.
The Viaje Exclusivo which originally started as an events-only stick is set to be released in late April or early May. The decision to release it as a regular production cigar stemsĀ from high demand according the brand owner Andre Farkas.
The cigar features a Criollo ’98 wrapper grown in Nicaragua which is the same country of origin for the binder and filler. It will be available as a Robusto (5 x 52), Toro (6 x 50) and Double R (5.5 x 54).
The Viaje Exclusivo is expected to retail between $8.40 and $9.04 a cigar before local taxes.
There will also be a 6 x 52 made exclusively for the German market.
